Both companies are in talks to develop a technology for mass production of panels available, which will compete directly with products like Samsung and LG. By pooling their resources and forces, the Japanese hope to win back the market for Korean invaders.
According to Nikkei,Panasonic has already invested 30 billion yen (about 374 million dollars) in production line testing OLED-displays.
